We are looking for experienced backend developer to join our growing Delivery team in Madrid.
A week in the life of a Backend Java/JEE Software Engineer:
You will participate in the design, implementation, security and validation of applications within a project team structure.
You will analyze customer requirements, perform feasibility study, provide technical proposal, estimate workload and contribute to project requirements specification.
You will ensure the code you've written functions as designed by creating automated unit and integration tests, which execute in our continuous delivery pipeline.
You will collaborate in the documentation related to these activities.
You will be part of an agile team. Knowledge,
Skills and Experience: To succeed at this job, you must have: experience of developing within a Java EE environment regarding Data Access (SQL, JDBC, JPA with Hibernate, JPQL), Web Services (HTTP, REST, SOAP, JSON and XML) and Unit Testing (JUnit). It would be preferred if you have a working knowledge of Front-end Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS), Applications Servers (JBoss EAP, WildFly, GlassFish), Relational Database Systems (Oracle, SQL Server), Distributed and NoSQL Databases and modern development tools as Distributed Source Control Systems (Mercurial, Git) and Continuous Integration (Jenkins). You must be fluent in English. We would like someone to join our team who is customer-oriented, quick learner and self-starter, international team-player and a problem-solver. Open minded and always learning. Preferably a degree in Software Engineering
We are looking for someone who have +5 years of experience developing. You may need to do some international travel in order to meet our customers (15% of time).
